What Do You Know About Bridgestone Tires

It is know to all that cab can go anywhere by itself alone. We can't move the car without having tires. To ensure safety and long wear we need to have quality tires.

Many entrepreneurs recognized that when the auto first became the means of transportation.One such company was Bridgestone Tires.

We got car with tires when the company started in 1931. Shojiro Ishibashi. The name Bridgestone comes from the English translation for his surname.

Japan has a rapidly growing auto industry and Bridgestone became the largest tire manufacture company in Japan. The company focused on producing tires with Japanese technology only. After many challenges, it began to produce a quality product. In1967 they began selling radial tires. In other areas of the world they also started openings markets. United States was their headquarters.

The company added Firestone Tire and Rubber Company by took over these companies. After this buying they was able to produce high quality tires and became a respected globally company. This gave it a large number of production sites in North America, as well as South America and Europe. It brought back in racing the Firestone/Bridgestone brand. Since 1971 it has been providing tires for racing.

After establishing its head office in Brussels, Belgium the company started their operation in Europe in 1972. It has 7 production plants in the area. UK has no production plants but the has a bay by which they tested the rejected tires by the customers. They usually provide tires along with Bridgestone rebates so that it can't pass inspection.

The company was brought variation in other products line because of its inception. Bridgestone produces polyurethane foam products, construction materials, and parts for electronic equipment, bicycles, and sporting goods. These various products usually generate one-fourth of the total sales of the group.

Bandag. Inc is a leading tire re-treader company and Bridgestone combined with it in 2006. As the president explained,

'Higher fuel prices are prompting customers to cut costs. Time and cost both needs to develop this size of business. We were able to get that all at once.'

Bridgestone Bandag, LLC is the new name of the company. It later became the Bridgestone Commercial Services Group.

Aircraft tires is produced by Bridgestone as well. Bridgestone Aircraft Tire is able too prepare for a changing market with a product mix that makes tires for the new Boeing 787 and the Airbus A380.

Now the company own manufacturing plants in all the most important countries all around the world. This includes the United States, Mexico, Belgium, China, Hungry, and Spain. It has become one of the premier tire manufactures in the world.
